Came here for lunch after the Camarillo outlets. All the food ordered was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and staff were friendly. I’ll be back if I’m ever out this way.
We enjoyed dinner at Betty Lola’s after seeing their review in Westways magazine. My husband ordered the bbq chicken dinner and I had the short rib dinner and we shared. The portion sizes were good and the food was fresh. This was our first time tasting Filipino food and we weren’t disappointed. The yummy surprises for me was the “papaya slaw” and the sweet rice cake. It was all delightful!
We FINALLY got to try this place out!! Wholly Smokes!! I was so ready to be disappointed & hace a complaint about something. But I have NOTHING negative to say!! The BEST Filipino Restaurant I've tried!! Their food is So Freakin Good!! My kids & I just kept complimenting every bite as we ate!! I will Most Definitely be going back a LOT more!!
I was excited to learn that a Filipino restaurant had opened in Camarillo, and happy to see the great reviews. I haven't had lumpia or pancit since I started WFH in 2020. Granted, nothing compares to homemade, but this wasn't even close. The lumpia was overcooked, and the small container of sauce was barely enough for 1, much less 3. The pancit was good, but I expected more vegetables (again, spoiled by my coworkers) And the service? My hubby and I tried LBK today for the first time and we're definitely going back. The food was fresh and flavorful. The portions were generous. The service was very good and the outdoor dining experience was very nice. We had chicken BBQ, pancit, longaniza and beef ribs. Highly recommend.
