Missed my chance to get a reservation at Volcano House in the Park but this was the next best option. It was perfect! Clear and easy self-checkin, inexpensive , a clean comfortable bed, clean carpets, and sparkling bathroom. No food or breakfast but hit up the food court / farmers market half a mile away for strong pour-over coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Can't get any closer to the National Park than this and it was super comfortable but simple. All I needed as a traveler. I'll definitely stay here again.
Really cute little place a stone's throw from the entrance, and just outside of Volcano Village (some great places to eat, a few cool shops). Easy, old-school villa style entry, Quiet. Loved the room (though the carpet needs a little work...). Loved the many small touches that made the room. Easy check-out. Would definitely use again. Great location and close to Volcanoes National Park, approximately 4 minutes to the gate. Bed was pretty comfy.
Had a lovely stay here last week! If you are planning a few days in the village, this place is perfect. The rooms are very large and although the decor is classic 90's, the hosts have thought of everything! I found my room clean, tidy and very comfortable. The location is excellent and it's very quiet. I would happily return!
