Event was great! We had a great time!!
I saw my favorite artist Neko Case at The Elm and she was amazing!!! The venue is nice and clean and they have friendly staff. However, I did not enjoy that the venue put out chairs for this concert. Neko Case started as country noir and then transitioned into indie rock. Her music is fun and something you wanna dance and sing along to. Putting out chairs came off as pretentious. Great concert. What a voice!
This was my first visit to the Elm. Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean restrooms, good acoustics and setup. Did not try the bar. I was expecting to stand for my general admission ticket to the concert, but chairs had been set up for general admission for this particular show. Would have been nice to know that in advance, would have brought much cuter but much less comfy shoes if I had known :)
