I went in for a consultation for a potential surgery. It was shorter than 5 minutes, he didn't look at the imaging I had done, he rushed through complications that can occur and didn't want to review them when I asked -I still don't know what the complications are that he quickly brushed over. It felt like a door-to-door salesman trying to get me to sign the dotted line. After the 5 minute "consultation" he was asking me when I wanted to schedule the surgery. Treated me with care. I was well-informed prior to surgery.
Dr. McKenna was very knowledgeable. We were very pleased with our appointment. We were happy to hear that he encouraged a second opinion and that he gets multiple opinions from a medical board himself. He seemed to care about his patients, which was a plus.
Dr McKenna great bed side manner, explaining the surgery and recovery. Staff was awesome at the hospital too.
