I have had a very difficult time finding an obgyn in Cache Valley that doesn't dismiss me because I'm done having babies regardless if I still technically could. I have felt dismissed and not taken seriously to devalued as a human. Dr. Ahlstorm was recommended by a few people when I expressed this and they were right. He took the time to listen, didn't make me feel bad or awkward when I started crying and made me feel reassured that he understands and cares about what I'm experiencing.
I am impressed with the level of care at this office. I will definitely keep using Dr. Ahlstrom in the future. He was great while trying to teach the student with him as well. My one piece of advice I would give-and I mean this in the most sincere way possible-is that when I’m trying to say something to him, or if I was even in the middle of talking, he’d just start talking about what he needed to say, which made me feel rather unimportant as though he were trying to get through his appts. as fast as possible.
