Very nice place to stay - clean, nice, fantastic location, cozy, beautiful cabins, lcd, picnic tables, good job guys.
While I have not actually stayed at Log Lodge, I suggest avoiding it. I called there, and all the other hotels and motels in the area, to try to locate a friend who has been missing for almost a week. When the owner said he couldn't release information regarding whether my friend had stayed there, I asked if I could give him the phone number to contact the police handling the case so that he could notify them instead if indeed my friend had stayed there. First words out of the owners mouth were "How much are you willing to pay?" No joke, no hello or anything. I laughed (thinking he was joking) and replied, what are your rates? He replied "I don't make jokes and I will not rent to you, get out". I said nothing, took a business card and got out of there. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There are plenty of other places to stay close by.
