Lived here for a year and definitely have many complaints with the property management company that manages this place. For those that don't know, this place is managed by TNT which is one of the, if not the lowest, rated property management companies in Blacksburg. I lived at one of their other locations before here. To get the basics out of the way, location is pretty nice convenience wise as you'd expect downtown. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but I expected that. I lived at the Lyrics for one year in one of the two bedrooms apartments - 203. The good: walking distance to VT, bars and restaurants nearby, pretty nice apartment overall, maintenance pretty responsive The not so good: outside noise on weekends, the bars and restaurants are not that great if you're not a college kid, the apartment layout is not optimal with oversized bedrooms and small living space, no real storage room, high utility cost due to no insulation, parking is not near but behind Chipotle (bringing in groceries ... read more
