Water down drinks and terrible terrible terrible food. The meat on my pork sandwich looked freezer burnt. And was approximately an eighth of an inch meat in between 2. 1/8 inch layers of breading So disappointed the atmosphere was really nice and we got served quickly, but that means nothing when you feel nauseous after eating.
Loft on Lake was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding and truly helped make the day unforgettable. The experience on the wedding day exceeded even our highest expectations. The space itself is stunning, with a warm, elegant atmosphere that created the ideal backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. Loft on Lake was a perfect venue to host our child's quinceañera. We hosted about 80 people and the space was just the perfect size to seat everyone and have a large open space for the special dances. The space had a great vibe, and worked so well with our minimal decorations. The front space was perfect for cocktail hour and an extra space for people to hangout once the open dance floor started. Jill and team were great to work with, and they did amazing to make sure our event was a success.
As a wedding photographer, I love shooting at Loft on Lake. The exposed brick and fairy lights give the space such a warm, inviting feel. It has that perfect balance of industrial and romantic, which makes it easy to photograph beautifully from start to finish. The open layout works great for both ceremonies and receptions, and it looks amazing whether couples keep the décor simple or fully style the space. It’s a great option for anyone wanting a Chicago venue with character and a cozy atmosphere.
