William O’Donnell with LODI Garage Doors was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was kind, jolly, and took the time to clearly explain what the issue was and how it affected the door. What really stood out was that he noticed the door hadn’t been oiled yet - even though that wasn’t on the work order - and went ahead and did it anyway. Communication is terrible once they get your money your money they put you on the back burner had to threaten to cancel They do not keep you updated like they promise on when the door has been shipped when the get to the warehouse if everything‘s there after many emails and tax Me two weeks later finally scheduled the door installed also went through theirs promotion through Costco that I would get a Shop card within seven days. Made an appointment a month ago for them to install a new garage door opener through Costco. My appointment was supposed to be on 1/8/26. I called them because I never received a confirmation for my appointment. I wasn’t on their schedule for that day so they made a new appointment for 1/9/26 from 8-12. At 11:45 I called them and they said they didn’t have time to do the install today either. They never called to tell me this. I would have just waited all day for them. Our garage door was installed a year ago and already the seal is falling off. The door sounds like it’s 50 years old when it opens. They won’t service the door since we are outside of the 1 year warranty. Surprising since it was purchased with Costco. I would not recommend this company - the communication with Michael during the sales process was rough and he kept calling me the wrong name. All around bad experience.
We received 5 star and beyond service from beginning to end with Lodi garage doors! Starting with Michael who was so polite from the first phone call. He guided us through the process and so low key…no pressure at all! Followed through to the very end. And then John our installer was absolutely amazing! A one man show of knowledge and workmanship! He could not have been nicer. We ended up being friends with both Michael and John. Than you so much!
