First stay years ago was great and refreshing. This stay was much less satisfactory. The fireplace did not appear to work nor the heated floors in the bathroom. Despite paying an extra fee for our pet, our lodge was never prepped for them as stated on the website. After hours one night, the fridge fuse tripped, ruining a couple items. A great idea, with easily-solvable problems if they would attend to them. The surface of this stay is a very nicely landscaped property with clean, separate prefab, mobile homes that serve as the “lodges” throughout. These have been souped up with a heated floor in the shower room and a gas fireplace. We stayed in Lodge 14 and it was fairly spacious, not creaky, with a king size bed in the main bedroom as well as a little curtained-off annex room with a small bed that worked for our son. Very well set up hotel. The lodges are fully separate from each other on a beautiful grounds. Took advantage of the fire pit/pavillion, one of the geodesic domes in the slightly chilly morning, and the lawn. Very extensive directions are given on how to get into your lodge (basic key pad), and a phone number is provided in case you have any questions or difficulties. Very clean inside, with nice finishes and a very comfy bed. Walkable area and very quiet at night.

This rental experience is heavenly. Gorgeous, modern lodges. Between all the amenities, the comfort and cleanliness, and ease of access, it's perfect for a single night or multiple nights stay. The location is perfect for the main strip of Vashon shops and restaurants. The grounds of The Lodges is beautifully landscaped and outdoor patio for fireside hangout was perfect. I can't wait to come back for a 3rd stay!
