AAA hired ER Disaster Services, and they truly came to my rescue. After my builder, Legacy Homes of Willow Creek (MHP Builders), installed a damaged bathtub that ultimately failed, in this new house, water soaked the carpet, padding, and walls in my brand-new home. I had a pipe burst and called my insurance company. Lockwood enterprises showed up the same day to assess damage. The next day with a full crew. Not only did they move all my contents out of the house but boxed and marked where the box came from ( what room) and what was in boxes. Then they started to demo. They had over 30 fans and at least 7 dehumidifiers going until moisture level was low enough to remove fans. Everyone I met from Lockwood was professional and I believe cared about my needs. I had posted an earlier review that explained the year long problems I'd had with Matt, trying to get a new door ordered and installed by Lockwood. My review was true and less than favorable. My biggest beef was a total lack of communication and follow through, and I stand by that. This company can and should do much better in that area. I'm just assist my elderly mother because she's deaf and I'm down as her primary care provider. In dealing with this company they began to be very aggressive and yet said they couldn't provide estimate prior to removing bricks off our wall. Even though they advertise up front estimates. They installed fans and dehydrator, going for 8 days , 24 hours / day , for 8 day's before even getting someone up on our roof to check why , where it was leaking from. Lockwood took advantage of the fact I was a single woman and knew nothing about contracts. I gave him $168,000without a contract. He didn’t tell me it should be in a trust account. And has yet to supply invoices. I am told he spent all monies on my home. It was not touch fromFeb. till end of may. He started the work but left it without shingles and roof is warped. He finally finished the siding . He even went as far as suggested I fraud the insurance company and start a claim on the garage so he could finish the job. ... read more
