Gives exactly what is advertised. It is a unique experience that tells the story of the canal and the lives that it changed. Lockhouse 25 is without running water and electricity, so you get to really experience what it was like back then. At night it is a little bit like camping because there are not really pillows (bring your own) and little blankets. The house is big enough to house 8. Overall cool experience. (One more bedroom not filmed)
Great starting place for 43 mile bike ride!
A really different and rustic lodging experience. Beautiful spot. Very clean for such an old structure.
Edwards Ferry (lockhouse 25) run by the C&O canal trust is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The canal beside it offers easy long distance biking and there is easy access to the Potomac River. It is well worth the visit.
Awesome experience spending time in a cute, truly historic, lock house!
