It’s closed/moving. Which is really too bad, because this location probably had the best patio I’ve ever experienced. For clarity (from visiting over the years): 5/5 staff 5/5 food—especially the fried chicken sandwich 3/5 beer—weird that the beer was mostly so-so for a brewery with amazing food 5/5 ambiance 1/5 for not yet posting that they were temporarily closed on Google when I went there on June 6, 2026.
We stopped in while visiting to check out their beer as we were told it’s a good local brewery. The night was winding down and it wasn’t busy. This spot is located in a cute little village and there were a few other local bars and restaurants within walking distance. We sat at the bar and ordered a Jealous Mistress and 13th Street Pinot Grigio. Both drinks were just ok, I don’t think we would order them again. There was nothing wrong with them, just our preference. Service was fine.
We had a great lunch at Lock Street. I quite enjoyed the Pot Side pilsner. It is such a plus when a brewery is also dishing up great food. Among us we had the Black Sail Melt (hotdog), both fish dishes ( fish & chips and the Big catch) as well as 2 chicken offerings (Nashville Hot and Chipotle Honey). All were highly rated. We heard the brewery is moving to a new location - it'll be worth a second visit just to see the new digs. March 7, 2026 S, C&Y, C&J
I love this place. Outstanding beer, excellent staff, and a really well rennovated building that was and still is a cornerstone of Port Dalhousie. And they are dog friendly, much appreciated by our Saluki Faris.
Best time ever!!!! Great food, drinks and staff were absolutely the best. Bonus that it's dog friendly too. Bartender made some off the menu drinks for us too. Such a great spot!!
