I had my wife's car worked on here, twice. I believe them to be incompetent and untrustworthy. I think, perhaps, many people simply do not know they are getting ripped off by having unnecessary parts replaced, when they do not need them. I believe this happened to me both times. They will NVER work on another car of ours!
The initial diagnosis of the issue with my BMW x3 was wrong though I was told it was a very high percentage it would fix the issue. It did not fix the car, but it cost me $943 for the " repairs ". Then, they threw the old parts away before I picked the car up. Then, I was informed of a technical service bulletin which revealed the real problem and was informed it would cost thousands to repair. They will NEVER work on another vehicle of mine!
My 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ had been getting 18 city and 12 pulling our trailer. We ran into a problem on the way home from our last trip, it went all the way down to 7 mpg towing our trailer. They ran a diagnostics on t... read more

They replaced the wire end, (this same wire end I called around and every part house that they would deal with gave me the same quote 22.00 dollars) they charged me 81.00. Not a bad days work 400 percent markup, in my book that's a crook. They then charged me 138.00 for a diagnostic, on t... read more
I'm sorry but I had a very bad experience with the Local Wrench, I feel like they just played me. I went in with a bunch of problems that I could of fixed myself but unfortunately my wife had been diagnosed with cancer ( all of which I informed the local wrench) I told Ron at the front counter that I had a 500.00 dollar limit and my big issue was that the gas mileage had gone from 12 towing my trailer to 7 and that all I wanted to do is get my wife back on the road so she could enjoy life. First mistake was telling them ... read more
