We are big fans of wood fired pizza. Local Pie serves a nice variety of pizza choices. I opted for "The Baller" and it was really good. My wife went with a White Pizza and it was equally tasty. The Ingredients all tasted fresh. The crust on both pizzas had that classic wood fired char and the crust was thick enough to hold up to the Ingredients. Margherita pizza crust had good char but was far too thin. Toppings are supposed to be light but were inadequate, hardly any sauce or cheese. Need to be a little more generous with the toppings to be an authentic margherita pizza.
Everything was great from the time we walked in the door until we left. Our server Brynn was friendly & attentive. She took our order & was knowledgeable when we had questions. Food was great. Pizza dough had a great flavor. The meatballs in the wedge were some of the best I've ever had.
