Recently we deposited a large check that should have had a hold on it, but the bank didn't do that. Turns out the check was a repeat check from November and so the company issuing it refused to honor it. My issue is that LGFCU emptied my account without my knowledge, claims they attempted to call yet left no messages, didn't email but did snail mail. There doesn't seem to be safety features in place to check for fraudulent checks. ie, holds on large checks or red flags on duplicate checks.

Have been member since 1970. Great personal service for our entire family. Highest CD rates to members and loan rates. Highly recommend.
