My wife came for a prescription that was supposed to be ready as she called it in 3 days ago and was assured by pharmacy staff it would be ready for her doctor appointment today. The lady lied and said we don’t have it because you only ordered it yesterday and gave my wife attitude. Wife had to cancel doctor appointment as prescription was needed for the appointment. such a strange experience… the older lady with purple streaks in her hair randomly snapped at me for checking my phone in silence while she was simultaneously looking up if the medicine i was prescribed was available for online for wholesale order. she looked up from the computer as i stood there quietly, quite frankly … baring her teeth at me and waving her arms around saying that i was allegedly “distracting” her. i was startled and apologetically/ confused, said “sorry.. i’m distracting you?” she said yes. she found what ... read more

Pam in the pharmacy is unhelpful and rude. Desperately needed a vial of insulin and was told she’d have to fax my physician to get a prescription, even though insulin can be prescribed by a pharmacist, and when I said I’d have to figure something else out she hung up on me… feels like maybe you shouldn’t be in a customer facing role that impacts people’s health and wellness if you can’t be kind or helpful. Insulin does not require a prescription in the province of Alberta in the case of an emergency.
