Pre-booked an appointment to see a prescribing pharmacist about an infected finger. When I arrived for my appointment, someone behind the counter told me that she couldn’t help me because there were no prescribing pharmacists on duty. She looked at my infection and stated she knew I needed antibiotics but couldn’t prescribe it for me. This person had no name tag, white coat or proof that she was employed for superstore. I’m dedicating this review to Mr./Ms. Patel at the Windermere Superstore Pharmacy. Not sure if it’s he or she, looks like she but has loose goatee, so I’ll just say they. Unfortunately, every interaction my family has had with Patel has been unpleasant. I have found them to be unprofessional, impatient, and dismissive. On more than one occasion, they spoke to us in a judgmental manner and asked questions that felt inappropriate and unrelated to providing pharmacy care. Avoid this place for flu shots specially if you are trying to walk-in. They can’t even get the appointment done on time. We got there around 11:40am and they said 30 minutes wait, after 1 hour they still not calling us because they are trying to clear those with appointment first which they are behind as well. My point is, why are they taking walk-ins when they have a full schedule appointment that time, and made us wait for more than an hour and people with appointment is waiting as well. Extremely disorganized and not helpful.
Asked the person in the pharmacy where pediasure was. It is usually in the pharmacy area but outside the counter. The woman I asked was likely an assistant. She kept saying “it’s right in front of my eyes”. I turned and looked. It want there. After repeating herself 3-4 times, she deigned to come out from behind the counter and took me and pointed to pedialyte. I said “that’s not it”. She said “it’s the same as pediasure”.
