I was told at the time of prescription pickup that there is a worldwide shortage of my medication, so I wouldn’t be getting my refill. I have one day’s worth of pills left and had called in my refill four days ago. The pharmacist, who was filling in for regular staff, was surprised no one had informed me. Apparently the shortage has been brewing for months, and supply MAY come back on stream in late October. Mom Mom keeps having medication errors in her blister packs. We have spoken to the pharmacists, manager and have reported to the BC Pharmacy Association. Still.,. Another medication error today. It’s a good thing my Mom is a retired nurse and knows her medications. Check your meds carefully.
