Loan Depot, Kara Steele, and her team has been one disaster after another. Constant repeated steps, goes no where, incompetent and unable to fund my mortgage loan. First try, my real estate agent & I were going to closing, I wired almost $100k, thinking we were done. THEN Kara changes and adds a condition for $20k. From start to finish, my experience with this company has been horrific. They had a data breach and all my personal info, including my social security number were leaked and now I have to fight identity theft. During my loan application I was treated like a fraudster by their underwriters because I didn't want to answer very personal questions about my children. They spam me with offers despite trying over and over to opt out. including very scammy emails from individuals at the company about 'me not finishing my application... read more
