10/29/2024 Update: Part of the conditions of our refinance was that "they", whoever "they" are that approve the loan, would use part of the equity cash out coming back to us to write checks to specific creditors to pay them off (which is what my husband and I were doing anyway and why we were dipping into OUR equity of our home). The problem with this is that "they" mail the checks to us, which "they" did overnight them as we requested.
