Loafers Glory Rafting and Tubing is the perfect place for your next vacation. Located in the mountains of Mitchell County in Western North Carolina, we offer fun for the whole family with river excursions for ages 4 and up. We are the original and longest operating river company in Mitchell County. River trips are all we do and our priority is safety and fun for every guest. Phone hours: 9:30am - 7pm. Tubing: 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm Reservations Required.

Absolutely loved it! Tons of fun with a few friends. The staff is friendly, and our driver was knowledgeable as he drove us up to the start. He told us about the area and gave us pointers on places to swim and rest along the river. And he was right there to pick us up; we didn’t even wait. It can get shallow in places and you have to paddle a bit or get out to walk across some rocks, but it was late in the season. I’ll definitely be back again in spring
Family run business with a perfect tubing experience. River is not teaming with people so it’s very serene. Very nice staff who bends over backwards to make our tubing trip perfect every time.

One of the best tubing experiences we've had in the region. The river is easy to navigate and scenic, and the staff helpful and kind. The little restaurant across the street deserves a shout out, too, for good food served to dripping customers in bathing suits.
