I work for the State; thus, I am issued State paychecks.....one week I'm "allowed" to deposit my paycheck and have my money, the next week they put a 1-7 day hold on it. I've even had one of the tellers ask me if I WANT a hold...Customer service was exceptionally awful in Geneva today.

To all my friends and associates if you bank with Lyons National Bank I highly recommend against. No matter what the case they always seem to do what they like with your money and never seem to have an answer when they are confronted about it. I can deposit 16.9 one day and it be available in 24 hrs, then again I can deposit 17.2 on another and its not available for 7 days, go figure the checks are from the same company. Guess they need the money for their xmas bonus . I see why they grew 16% this year, use other people's mo... read more
