About this business
In 1946, Lloyd Stafford thought that the Roanoke Valley needed a home supply store. With this idea in mind, Lloyd's Decorating Center in Roanoke Rapids was born. In 1947, soon after the store opened, Mr. Otha Bone bought the store which was located at 935 Roanoke Avenue. Mr. Bone successfully ran the business which then specialized in paint and flooring.
