Don't come here for mental health. What a nightmare. They will hold you hostage for 25 hours in a sad, depressing room that if I was more volatile and actively wanted to harm myself they truly give you all the resources possible. Cords, plastic sharps container, a sink next to a bunch of electrical outlets, sharp curtain hangers. Was left alone in this room for a grand total of 23 hours, with very little check ins, only to give me food. Half the nurses are miserable, you ask for something and then they just don’t bring you it. And if you wanna wait long for something then go here, waiting days and days to hear back from a doctor for something big isn’t right. Overall i’d rather drive all the way to edmonton instead of sitting or staying here.
Huge rave to Dr. A. Mukhi along with all the staff involved in my care that day. I was at Lloydminster Hospital on June 22, 2026, from about 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and everyone I dealt with was absolutely phenomenal. The doctor and staff were kind, professional, efficient, and made me feel very well cared for. I really appreciated the experience and hope the right people are recognized.
