I WOULD NOT recommend this clinic to anyone! I would give this place 0 stars if I could.Dr. Noelle Rathmell is so rude and unprofessional and the staff does not call you back like they say they are going to. My wienie dog got the typical back injury that caused his back legs to be paralyzed. I wasn't able to go to the appointment and they sent no discharge instructions home with my husband, so I didn't know what the plan of treatment was. I have no complaint concerning the treatment of my pet. However, I took her in for three vaccination shots - normally at any other vet clinic under $100. VCA did tests about which they didn't inform me nor did I approve them, and the bill was over $400. I expect to be consulted BEFORE a test or treatment is done; for all VCA knew, another vet had recently done the same tests. Or my pet may have formerly had a bad reaction. I/We Have never met a more friendlier place to bring our dog to in all my life! From the moment you enter this facility, you and your pet are treated with the utmost care and kindness. THE ENTIRE STAFF "always" puts your pet first, and always goes the extra mile for you the pet owner! They even call the very next day to check in and see how your pet is doing. My cat was on a waiting list to get her bum checked which is always a tech visit. I got the text that they had availability the next day, so I took her. A vet tech took me back and did a quick exam then said the vet would be in. This was a tech visit, and I when I said that he shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "oh well". Then Dr Tolmer vet came in with a "trainee". She proceeds to examine her then told me that Franchesca needed to have her teeth cleaned. She showed me her teeth very fast. Horrible customer service from staff.
I have had two dogs, one has passed away due to age. The other is doing well. I have used this hospital for both pets. They have taken wonderful care of both. When I hear my dog crying in the back, they come and get me to help calm him. Sometimes in order to fix the dog, some pain is involved. If it's going to be really painful, they will sedate him. They are good, professional and caring workers. I trust them with my little dogs all the time. Joe M.
If u don’t want your pet kidnapped or tricked into anything they have up they sleeve don’t go here. I was deliberately lied to and tricked to surrendering over my dog and humane society officer is a witness and I was told my dog would be put down free of charge and no test will be done on him because I didn’t have the money and I was assured that my dog wouldn’t be sold or adopted out but when I got there it was totally a lie and when I brought it up and was upset with the lies I was told and asked about it the cops were cal... read more
My dog recently broke his leg. He was able to have surgery the next day by Dr. Balogh. Dr Balogh was wonderful! He explained the procedure and answered all my questions thoroughly. My dog ended up getting an infection after surgery which delayed the healing process. Again, Dr Balogh delivered excellent care. He was there for us every step of the way! After nearly $5000.00, they did absolutely nothing for our cat with skin problems. They gave up on our cat. They don’t know what they are doing. If I could give no stars I would.
