Had a 10 minute hold in the queue on the phone ringing in at 8am. After getting through, I have to say the receptionist was polite, professional and very helpful in arranging my appointment for the same day. Very satisfied with the appointment, the GP listened to my concerns and was very thorough.

I have been a patient of the surgery for over 20 years and all the staff have been absolutely brilliant. Why are people so ungrateful? Every time you call it clearly states if you think your call is an emergency please call 111. What if the surgery closes due to the lack of staff? What will you do then? Have some respect for yourself and those around you, please.

The doctors in Llanberis are fantastic when you can get an appointment but it’s actually making an emergency appointment that’s the problem. In order to do this you are asked to phone at 8am, you phone on the dot and apparently there appears to be a high volume of calls and you’re told by a recorded voice to call back later. You call back later and the scenario is repeated. When you eventually get through you’re put in a queue. My very first visit to see the doctor and the experience was excellent. From the receptionist to the doctor, who was very thorough with me, to try find why I was so poorly.
