Good place to stop and eat. Nothing fancy. Not the best ventilation.
I hadnt been to a location in probably a decade. Last tine was in Lynnwood but i remember it being good. Today was a disappointing experience. The staff were friendly and nice but my goodness the food tasted so bland. Bland Hawaiin food? Huh? I got loco moco and a mac salad. Im really hoping it isnt the case that this spot was bought and they have cut corners. Probably wont be back
Today wednesday september 2nd 2026 I ordered a kalua pork and cabbage and the pork and cabbage tasted and smelled scorched, very unpleasant. I have ordered from L&L hawaiian barbecue for years, and never had an issue.So yes , this is the first time. I understand things happen. In the photo , you'll see multiple scorched parts of food.
My 10 year old loves this place but it could be a little cleaner. I just feel the need to use hand sanitizer when we go. Its probably because a homeless dude lives in the side of the building and outside smells like garbage when you park. Not sure if the business can do anything about this so ...
