I have finally found the WORST franchise location in the L&L Hawaiian barbecue chain. I've been to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Utah, up and down California and by far this was the worst ever. More than half of the fountain drinks were out with little notes posted "out". Restrooms looked like it belongs in a truck stop. Half the menu were out including the kalua. Subpar breading on the chicken katsu. Seemed like regular bread crumbs were used vs. panko bread crumbs. The mac salad was a bit dry because the dressing was too runny. I grew up eating at the original one in Hawaii so I know what I'm complaining about.
Food wasn't that good. I haven't been here in a while, I'll remember why now.....
Natl musubi day Thurs Aug 8 2024 good service nice size fried shrimp mini plate. sometimes I stop by just for $5 Kauai kookie co guava cookies.
