Stop by for bbq and chicken Katsu during lunch. Food was made fresh to order and was huge portions. We went earlier in the morning and got to enjoy the place to ourselves.
I love Hawaii and it’s people, culture and food. L and L originated in Hawaii and unfortunately went to franchise stores. The places on the Islands are authentic and food plates there taste absolutely delicious. Unfortunately I can not say the same for this establishment. I lived on Oahu for 10 years. This place in Brea, California is missing some ingredients. The bbq chicken was overcooked and way too dry. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about this place. The only person working there—who I believe is the owner—was shockingly rude from the moment I walked in. His behavior was aggressive and completely unprofessional. On top of that, the kitchen was filthy, and he handled the food in an extremely unhygienic manner.
