Our local Hawaiian BBQ in Patterson. We were super glad when this place opened up in town since a change up from McDonald's was nice. Small shop with super friendly employees. Fast and always fresh and tasty. The portions that they offer are huge and great for the price. I just have a couple complaints. Not a fan that they leave the skin on the chicken, And the sauce they use for the teriyaki is super watered down. Came in right before closing and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. My food was fresh, hot, and definitely not leftovers like you sometimes get late at other places. Everything was clean and well kept, including the bathrooms, which I really appreciated. Great service and great food even at closing time—I’ll definitely be back!
Man were we happy to find L&L Hawaiian BBQ amongst all the big name fast food joints along i5! A little off the interstate but not far and we'll worth it to get away from all the cooperate giants with the same ole stuff. Nice to see this place expanding all over! Just had the portuguese sausage, eggs, and brown rice. Husband had the chicken katsu. Ordered through door dash so the brown rice was a little colder then i’d like but the restaurant isn’t to blame for that. I removed one star because my portuguese sausage was a bit overcooked and the shoyu packets are the typical restaurant style soy packet, not Aloha shoyu. One of them had leaked throughout the bag. Overall, everything was good. Didn’t get a pic of husbands Katsu because he inhaled it and that’s a sign that it was perfect.
I'd stop here again if I go this way. The food was on point, especially the bbq 😋 Good job to the cook
