L&L is a local fastfood chain that has been around for 50 years. I would describe the menu as a fusion between Chinese food and local Hawaiian specialties. Although it's a chain, each location is completely unique. Today, I got the Fried Mahi Sandwich and an egg roll. The egg roll was just ok, but the sandwich was amazing! Great place to gwt food. They have a lot of different choices. I recommend everyone coming to eat here
I had a huge mini Kalbi plate lunch, 5 stars. But her real butterfly and moth collection hanging on the top rim of the dinning area was just truly amazing. Each has a something written on it. So go buy a plate lunch and admire her beautiful collection all around the restaurant there's so many it's really really awesome! Fyi butterfly and moth collection are preserved in a glass frame flawlessly.
My bbq mix plate was awful. None of the meats were cooked all the way and it was drenched in oil. Both plates were the same. $20+ each plate, super annoying, both of us took one bite of our chicken and wasnt cooked all the way, one bite of the rice, and we closed the plate. The chicken katsu was good. My French fries weren't even crispy, some was cold still yet, I drive from keaukaha to this lnl for the chicken katsu, next time ill just get that only. 3 plates and French fries - $70+ we only ate the chicken katsu plate.....i... read more
