This is the superior L&L experience, both in terms of food and service. I’ve lived in Washington for about two years and have tried just about every L&L around the Lacey/Tacoma area, and this location is THE ONE. It’s not just the way the food tastes—it’s how carefully everything is prepared. Even the cabbage is cut exactly how I like it: shredded, not diced into tiny cubes. Order chicken and a pork bowl. Very tasty and just the right amount, since we are traveling through town.
The food is absolutely delicious, but the service is not friendly or fast. The meal was so delicious that we overlooked the mean mugging employees, the trap music playing so loud in the kitchen that we couldn't have a conversation, and the tables weren't clean and we couldn't get anyone to come out to wipe them down. My husband went into the bathroom and wet a paper towel to wipe our table down. Food delicious and fresh.... everything else? Not so much. I'll get take out next time.
No Aloha when my Ohana and I walked in. We usually come in with a warm Aloha. Not tonight, These girls seem to always have attitude when I’ve gone but tonight was the last straw to come here.
