I’ve worked with LKQ for some time and had hoped their warranty would reflect the quality they claim to stand behind. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience. I purchased an engine advertised with a 3-year, unlimited mile warranty. After installation, the engine had low oil pressure and was found to contain metal shavings in the cylinder—clear signs of a manufacturing defect.
