Just had one of their delivery drivers curse at me while I was alone in the office. He became beligerant, acted in a threatening manner and refused to leave. He threw the check I had given him and told me to give him our supplies back. I locked myself inside our office in fear of what he would do next and he kept trying to open the door. This is unacceptable and I want to hear from upper management. No female should have to be afraid of a delivery driver. Still shaking and have spoken with police so it will be on record.
Lists a general name of the parts, but doesn't give specifics online. Called in to ask, 25 minutes later a rep says he can't answer my question, please call another line. Call back, one hour on hold, no answer. Checked the price for shipping from way across the US and one next to me, same price. LKQ in general seems super scammy.
Been getting a lot of defective remanufactures transmissions from these guys. Shop is no longer accepting anything from them
I’ve recently had a very frustrating experience dealing with LKQ Corporation and its employees. I ordered a part from an Indiana location to be shipped to Texas and paid for it in full. I have now been waiting for this part for over a week. When I tried to contact the Indiana store regarding my order and to request the correct part I originally paid for, the LKQ phone system routed my call to an Ohio location without my knowledge. Beyond Incompetent – Two "Lost" Transmissions in Two Weeks I am currently stuck in a nightmare caused by LKQ Mid-America’s total inability to manage a simple delivery. Through a warranty claim (IR-21746636), they were contracted to deliver a rebuilt transmission to an AAMCO in Boise. The first unit was 'lost' in transit. The second unit was supposedly delivered yesterday, but the driver apparently 'couldn't locate' a massive, well-known AAMCO franchise on a main road and misdelivered it.
