Our three-year tenancy managed by LJ Hooker Nelson Bay ended recently. The vacate process was handled by the property manager and, unfortunately, was conducted in a way that felt unnecessarily aggressive and confrontational. During the tenancy we paid rent and water on time, maintained the property, and vacated with professional cleaning and steam-cleaned carpets. LJ Hooker Nelson Bay holiday accommodation bookings were fine except the pending security money they take from your account and as per the contract for the booking it should be back in your bank account the latest 2 weeks. Be aware that they pend the funds for a full month and don’t release it until it expires. They blame your bank but this is misinformation and it’s under LJ Hooker to release and it their fault.
