If you’re looking for a gynecologist who actually listens and has even a basic sense of bedside manner…run. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.I originally went to Dr. Lizzy Andrews because I had severe pelvic pain that I’d been dealing with for about a year. Dr. Andrews neglected my concerns every time I came into the office. She wouldn’t listen, made me feel like I was making stuff up, and just wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible. I ended up not going back after I had enough. Come to find out, I was severely iron deficient and ended having to get 3 infusions during my labor and delivery. It was the most traumatic birthing experience I ever had. The only reason I hung on was because of the Lord. Stay away from Lizy.
I am shocked at these reviews. I just moved to Arkansas, and one of the people I hated to leave was Dr. Andrews. She was always kind, thorough and caring. It will be difficult to find someone to replace her. She also delivered my friend’s baby, and she couldn’t say enough good things about her.
It was my first time getting an annual gynecology exam and the assistant asked me if a male student could sit in on the exam. I said no because I was uncomfortable but he ended up standing in the corner the entire time. There were 3 people in the room, the assistant, the male student, and Dr. Andrews. She proceeded with the exam and when it came time to the pap smear, it was very painful because I was tense. She wasn't gentle with me and told me to relax, it was hurting because my muscles were tight but it was hard to loosen... read more
She doesn't spend hardly any time in the room, doesn't offer information or educate, will give short answers when I ask questions.
