Dos Palos is full of junk and Lizette's is no exception. Rude service, terrible cakes, terrible people. Got shunned away for being a homosexual; was arrested for ordering a cake with a husband and me, older male. Do not stay much less live in Dos Palos-- terrible, awful community.
Im sorry but i would have to completely disagree with all of the below reviews. Unfortunately you cannot walk in with a negative attitude anywhere and expect others to be at your feet. I agree customer service is key in a business. I have been a loyal customer to Lizzettes bakery for years and they have never steered me wrong with their amazing authentic freshly made Mexican bread, as well as their amazingly delicious tortas. These people actually think we need their business. They are totally rude and look at you like you bother them when you come in...every time we go in the same looks. I really hope these people figure out that they need us (customers) in order to for thier business to survive. Oh by the way thier cakes suck....especially thier wedding cakes ( I can make a better cake!) tip: get it together....it's your customers money you pocket!!!
I have to agree with both those people. I moved away long ago. But it’s nice to go home and have some sweet Mexican bread. But when it comes to that bakery.. I will not enter. I been there before and they are so RUDE. They act like I Own them something because they are there. Actually Lizette Bakery... You own me because I give you my money so that you can prosper and Pay YOUR BILLS... I have to agree with the first person, it's a small town so you expect good services, but not in this Mexican bakery. I have noticed that no one greets you and no one ever has a smile. I think the employees and also the owner should take some customer service class,on how to treat customers.
