They weren’t even referred by my gp for my rediagnosis but got my details off my referral to my psych who did my initial assessment in 2023. I received a text and booked in believing this was the psych my gp had referred too without checking (adhd tax once again). Dr. Sherol Hanna, wasted, my time, my energy and my money. Do not go to her. Stay away from her. She couldn’t give me a definite answer whether or not I had ADHD, the report was inconclusive. When I wanted clear up whether or not I had ADHD and brought in another doctor to support me and she was hostile and defensive. I wasted my precious money. I wasted a day. I feel cheated.
Saw Dr in November who when writing the report for recommendation to my GP wrote that I was taking medication that was NEVER spoken about or prescribed. She prescribed me medication that has strict rules that need to be met before being giving and I met NO conditions. No contact numbers work to get this corrected.
I had a great experience with Dr Sherol Hannah. She was vey understanding of my previous experience with ADHD Medication. She took the time to listen to me as well as talk me through her suggestions and treatment options as an adult.
I'm writing a review here because negative reviews worried me so much. I had already paid and booked. I think I could have cancelled as I was a few days out, but as I can't handle waiting, I decided to trust my GP. My GP said Dr Sherol Hanna doesn't diagnose everyone, but in a good way. She said she's her favourite psychiatrist and actually, the only psychiatrist she likes.
