I got this service free from my company. Livongo asks a lot of questions, which I do not really share, but I went through the whole thing anyway. So, I received the kit, which is over twice as bulky as my normal kit. The meter has cellular service to transmit information back to Livongo. It is possible to put it into airplane mode to cut these busybodies out, but if it ever comes out of this mode, it transmits whatever it has. It does work, but is a bit awkward.
