I generally get very good care at Livingston Regional but this last time, which was more than a year since the time before I went, the doctor made me feel like I was faking the pain and wanted pain meds. I had a migraine that was causing vomiting and nausea and everything I had taken at home was not working. I wanted the migraine protocol which is fluids, magnesium anti nausea, steroid, and sometimes Benadryl and toradol or something like that. My wife and I went to the hospital for what we thought was appendicitis. After more than 3hrs of waiting we were finally seen for about 3 minutes by the doctor and then my wife was taken for CT scan. We then waited for another almost two hours before the doctor came back in pressed on my wife's abdomen a few times and said, we couldn't see your appendix but you have a cyst. The doctor then said they would like to have done an ultrasound, but no one was at the hospital to perform the ultrasound. So they gave her some pain med... read more

I get this at three star because the front desk was very very friendly and considerate and concerned the doctor after I realized was also very wise in what she was doing so I appreciate that. When I was discharged I told the nurse that I needed a wheelchair she said that you drove here I said I could drive I can't walk so she went about her business. I told her again that I needed a wheelchair and she said again well you drove here I said yes I did I can drive I can't walk. She went behind the desk and never give it another ... read more

When I got to the er and me screaming in pain they had to have a X-ray first before they would even put a iv in me. When they finally saw that I had broken 9 ribs and a collapsed lung they started to put a iv in me well the nurses tried to find my vein they could not for me being dehydrated and they tried and tried and tried so after several attempts to put a iv in they started to call me a drug addict because they couldn't find my vein so about seven of them had me by each arm and leg spreading me apart to find a vein with ... read more
