I would like for someone to please explain to me when DCFS started picking and choosing which child abuse cases they would investigate. How is it that 3 or 4 different calls have been put in, in the last two months regarding the same abuse allegations for the same two children, and yet, the calls have gone unassigned. There’s been no home visits, no welfare checks. Not an ounce of effort put in to go in and help. So much for Louisiana DCFS’ motto of “Every child deserves to feel safe”.
Interestingly the sheriff's office choses not to have reviews. I guess it's for giving out extremely expensive tickets to an impoverished community. Especially when the fix for said tickets is not expensive. But instead they choose predatory practices probably racially motivated. 200 dollar ticket. Be sure if you're coming through here that your license plate lights are working. As well as all your lights. There's a Livingston sheriff running around looking for free money. No warnings.
