Tried calling and got automated system that would not let me put in an extension , nor a name , not (3rd option) even 0 for the operator but disconnected me from the call. I'm stumped. Unbelievable.

Horrific…terrible experience both on the phone and in person dealing with birth certificate department. Lazier than the typical government worker, which is saying something. You’d expect better for such a “high class” town.

Government agency, so expected the worst and sure enough I was right. Over the phone you will be treated will a condescending tone for simple basic questions. No method to let you know whether documents are available without physically being there. Runs like we are in the dinosaur age.

I'd give zero stars if I could. The employees working in the office for birth certificates are rude and give sarcastic responses. I believe one of there names is Kristin, not sure about the other. At this office they treat you like its the DMV when you ask any questions. They only provide sarcastic remarks for any questions asked, and both females working there are rude. A previous comment mentioned that the workers are racist or have some prejudice towards minorities, I too believe this is true as well. If you hate your job... read more
