My husband and saw Dr. Rice for marriage counseling. Instead of helping both of us, he decided on just seeing my husband and help him lose weight by watching a hypnosis video. Dr. Rice was not very friendly. Later I saw Rebecca for counseling. She suggested that my husband and I come back after she talks to Dr. RICE and they put something together. That was over 6 months ago and I NEVER got a call back. For Christian based counseling they sure don't act very Christian like.

My experience with Dr.Rice's therapy was very disappointing. For the first couple of sessions he put in his best effort and that's how I got sold on continuing with him. But later he started sort of slacking off.But that's not the worst of it. He would make these offensive comments and I really didn't know what to think of him. Having read all the previous comments I'm guessing he must be hating his patients. He needs to retire. Period.

Wow, just wow. I don't even want to describe some of the things that went on during my therapy sessions with Dr. Rice. I will say that if you have masochistic tendencies, then this is the psychologist for you. If you actually want to feel better, stay far away from him. I'm still blown away by some of the things he said and did. I'll get over my shock, but I'm most concerned with the seriously mentally ill people who have such low self esteem that they will just continue to be abused by him, somehow thinking they deserve it.... read more

Living Hope Clinic, Dr. Rice As a Harvard-trained psychologist, I expected excellent treatment from Dr. Rice, and I have certainly been pleased with how he chooses to work with me. Not everyone will form an effective alliance with every particular practitioner, but for me, Dr. Rice's approach and demeanor is very comfortable and also very effective. Living Hope Dr. Rice has been a very patient and understanding psychologist. I have appreciated the outside reading suggestions and follow up discussions. I didn't realize that it was possible to take charge of your health and well-being through hypnosis. Both the hypnosis sessions and the cognitive behavior therapy have been very helpful. Thank you Dr. Rice for sharing many useful tools and skills.

Living Hope Clinic Living Hope Clinic offered the healing I was seeking through a Christ centered foundation, focus and spirit. I feel very blessed and thankful to have been in such good care. Very professional.The patient billing seemed a little screwy as I received upto 3 statements in a month that did not necessarily reflect payments made. Perhaps that is their normal. I on the other hand am used to receiving a monthly statement that reflects a more accurate accounting within a thirty day period.

My experience with Dr. Rice was outright awful. His methods were ineffective and dated, he didn't listen to what I had to say, instead he would jump to conclusions and put words into my mouth. On a couple of occasions he even made some rude comments that sounded more like an insult. The last time I had a "pleasure" to see him, I left his office in a state of panic. Please, stay way.

Very BAD experience My experience with Dr. Rice was unfortunately not a positive one. He really gave his best for the first couple of sessions and that's how I got sold into continuing with him, but then he started sort of slacking off. Dr. Rice Review by patient Four years ago I was looking for a Christian based Psychologist to help me deal with my DID here in Idaho. Dr Rice has been able to effectively help me continue to integrate my personalities and have them work together. He has also been able to help me get the two sides of my brain working together which my former Psychologist gave up hope of achieving.
