It was an interesting little park. In the middle of some renovations and needs a bit more after that. The aviary was literally just 2 types of birds. Many of the animal.exhibts definelty needed some upkeep. It was inexpensive and worth visiting if you have time in the area.
Wolves were a family's favorite. It was hot.
Admission was only $10, and they provided us with a map at the entrance, which was helpful. It was really cool getting to see the roadrunner up close! Unfortunately, we did not get to see the bison, bear, or elk during our visit, which was a little disappointing. They also had a plant sale going on, which we thought was pretty neat. There was a good amount of shade throughout parts of the trail, which helped with the heat. One thing to note is that the trail felt much longer than the listed 1.5 miles.
