For the last month I have been seeing Wendy Shi for acupuncture. Wendy was recommended to me by a friend. I was having pain in my left side. Wendy was able to identify that I probably had a hernia and needed imaging. My primary care doctor was too booked up to see me quickly and all the gastroenterologists near me were also booked up, so I went to the Houston Methodist emergency room where I received imaging and was diagnosed with a hernia and referred to a surgeon who will see me tomorrow.
