What a difference six months makes. I went from a positive review to wishing I could give negative stars. My “tough” Amarok — as VW advertises it — took a tiny stone chip on the front sensor, and the entire front detection system shut down. The dealer can’t even visually show me the supposed chip damage, and VW Australia just keeps escalating everything to the same person, getting nowhere. Be very careful with VW — the support is disconnected, unhelpful, and nowhere near what you’d expect for a brand selling “rugged” vehicle... read more
