I have been a loyal supporter and donor at this PDSA branch for a long while and always donate at the desk (including £25 today) because I respect their mission. In the past, they have been great with Daisy’s dental work and have sorted her out a few times, but today was a total betrayal of that trust. The moment the vet found out my cat, Daisy, was 20 years old (initially thinking she was 16), her entire attitude shifted. I brought my 8 year old pug in for a check as he had a head tilt, loss of balance and rapid eye moment. When I went into the room the vet did not give him a full examination all he did was check his heat beat and said he had had a stroke, after doing my research I now have a better understanding of what the vet should of done to confirm my dog had a stroke, he didn’t do a eye and pupil examination, didnt do a balance and walking test, or a ear test to check for infections.
