when I was at my bottom and reaching out for help they were absolutely amazing and persistent. Talk to different staff close to a dozen times before I finally made it in. they helped me tremendously understand who I was and what I was dealing with. Now I am married and have a five-year-old son and living the dream just over 10 years sober :-)
In 1998 I was blessed to be there in the beginning of my sobriety! Still sober 2019!
I see some negative comments on here, that is hard to believe. when I went there they helped me vastly. I was well on the way to death from alcohol and drugs.. Today I celebrate 25 yrs and 9 months. I thank livengren with my life. Maybe family members and patients need to understand, you cannot candy coat, or worry about having your feelings hurt. This is life or death situations. you have to be real and serious. they know what they are doing.
The phone cut out and I tried to call back. When I called, the lady answering the phone was short, rude and acted like I was a bother. She wouldn’t take my name and gave me an unwarranted attitude. This is obviously extremely difficult for my family member and I and this phone call means more than most will understand.
