Dr. Kellen missed the ‘bedside manner’ class in med school. He’s pompous and overly certain of himself. After six weeks and multiple prescriptions for a miserable sinus infection I asked for a referral to an ENT. He refused because he wanted to try one more prescription. I was in pain and suffering and not looking to be his guinea pig. I did not remain a patient of his. As Tim McGraw says, humility and kindness go a long way for a man.
Very very happy with Dr. Kellen and Live Oak staff for taking care of my family and I for last 7 yrs. Highly recommend!

If you require regular/maintenance prescriptions, use another office! It's an act of God plus multiple follow up calls to the office (instead of the pharmacy) and more frequent visits (copays if you're lucky enough to have insurance) bc they "get lost" when the pharmacy faxes over the request (usual protocol and as stated in their messages)
